When H.D. Campbell's first book, How To Lose A Black Woman was published in 1999, he also wanted to assist and promote other authors on their way to the top of the Best Seller List.  Since 2014, Hard Drive Publishing has survived a rocky start to get several books published and is currently on its mission to promote and push books to their next level.  From 2025 and beyond, we're taking Hard Drive Publishing to a new level.

Lula Carter joined the team months after our founding and works with the day to day of the decision making of the company.  In addition to running her own company CARTER ELITE TRAVEL (see that page here), she works hard to make sure Hard Drive Publishing runs smoothly.

 Ms. Carter assists in finding authors, vets outside vendors, find new bookstores, and so much more.  She is a valuable member of the team. She is the backbone and the conscience of the team.
